Manage steps

Add, reorder, duplicate, hide, and delete the ordered steps in a tour.

Build a clear tour sequence by adding only the steps viewers need and placing them in the right order.

What you need

  • A project that opens in the editor.
  • A simple outline of the viewer journey from first step to last step.
  • Any media needed for a new Image step or Video step.

Arrange the tour

  1. Open the step list

Choose the step counter in the lower-left corner. Select a step to inspect its content and its place in the sequence.

  2. Add the next step

At the intended insertion point, choose Add step to add sourced media or Blank step to begin with an empty canvas. Confirm the new step appears in the step list.

  3. Put steps in order

Drag a step thumbnail to its intended position. Read the full sequence from top to bottom, then choose Preview and move through it in the same order a viewer will.

  4. Use the step actions

Open the menu for the selected step, then choose the action that matches your intent:

    ActionUse it when
Duplicate stepYou want a copy to adapt without rebuilding the step.
Hide stepYou want to retain the step in the editor while you test the sequence without it.
Delete stepYou no longer need the step. Confirm the deletion only after checking the selected step.
  5. Preview the complete sequence

Start at the beginning. Check that every step has a clear purpose, the order is logical, and the tour reaches the intended result without unrelated content.

When the sequence is not what you expect

A new step appears in the wrong place

Open the step list, drag the step to the intended position, and preview again.

A hidden step still affects the experience

Return to the step list and confirm that you hid the intended step. Preview from the beginning. If the step still appears, contact support with the project and step name.

You deleted the wrong step

Stop editing and contact support. Do not make additional structural changes until you know whether the step can be recovered.
