Editor basics
Orient yourself in the tour editor: select a step, use its contextual controls, make one change, and Preview.
Use this page to learn the manual editing loop, not every editor control.

What you need
- A project that opens in the editor. If the project is still being prepared, check its processing state.
- One specific change you want to make.
- Any replacement image or copy needed for that change.
The basic editing loop
Read the contextual toolbar
Confirm the step type above the canvas, then read the controls below it. An Image step can expose Insert, Layout, Voiceover, and more actions.

After selecting an Image step, choose the control that matches the change you need. If the expected control is missing, check the selected step and its type before continuing.
Preview the tour
Where to go deeper
This orientation deliberately stops after one manual change and Preview. Continue with Manage steps, Layouts and backgrounds, or Hotspots, areas, and callouts for a focused walkthrough.
When the result is not what you expect
The toolbar does not show the control you expected
Confirm the selected step and its type. The toolbar is contextual. Return to the step list, select the intended step, and check the toolbar again.
You cannot find the step you need
Open the step selector again and confirm the step label above the canvas. If the step is still missing, stop editing and contact support with the project and expected step.
A change is missing in Preview
Return to the editor and reopen the affected step. Confirm that the editor shows the intended value, then preview again. If the editor and Preview still differ, stop and contact support with the project, step, and visible mismatch.
