  3. Select the play button beside a voice to hear it.
  4. Select the voice. You'll see it under Voice.
  5. Generate the voiceover again to use the new voice.

Voices sit in these groups:

GroupWhat's in it
ClonedVoices cloned in your workspace.
My VoicesThe default voice from your Brand memory, when it isn't in another group.
NativeVoices made for the language you chose. The group changes when you change the language.
MultilingualVoices that speak many languages.
Classic multilingualMore voices that speak many languages.

A group shows only when it has voices for you, and the voices in each group depend on your plan.

Create a voice clone

Create a voice clone, at the top of Choose a voice, makes a voice from recordings of a real voice.

To create an instant voice clone:

  1. In Choose a voice, select Create a voice clone > Instant voice cloning.
  2. Enter the Name of the voice and choose its Language.
  3. Optional: Add a Description of the voice.
  4. On the Record tab, select Start recording and read the script aloud.
  5. Select Stop recording. Layerpath makes the voice from your recording.
  6. Select Done. You'll see the new voice chosen under Voice, and listed under Cloned.

To use recordings you already have, select Upload in step 4, add the files, and select Next.

A Pro or Team workspace can keep 3 instant voice clones. After that, you'll see "Max 3 reached, delete existing to create new." To delete a cloned voice, select the bin icon beside it under Cloned.

Professional voice cloning uses longer recordings. After you upload them, you read a short text aloud to confirm it's your voice, and the voice trains. You can close the window and keep working, and the voice shows under Cloned when it's ready. On plans other than Enterprise, you'll see "Upgrade to Enterprise to access professional voice cloning."
